Charaka Simoncelli

Charaka Simocelli è un’artista italiana. La sua carriera inizia con gli studi all’Accademia Steiner di Milano, dove comincia a sviluppare la sensibilità cromatica e il senso della sperimentazione spaziale e atmosferica che caratterizzano le sue opere. Successivamente, il lungo periodo trascorso in India porta ad un approfondimento della tecnica, accompagnato da un progressivo arricchimento della componente decorativa, della ricchezza del linguaggio pittorico, brillante, introspettivo, denso di suggestioni. La componente paesaggistica si estende ad un orizzonte emotivo, delicatamente introdotto dalla pennellata, dalla materia, dall’accostamento di astrazione e figurazione.

Charaka Simocelli is an Italian artist. Her career began with her studies at the Steiner Academy in Milan, where she started to develop the chromatic sensitivity and the sense of space and atmospheric experimentation that characterizes her work. Subsequently the long period spent in India leads her to a deepening of the artistic language, followed by a progressive enrichment of the decorative component, opening to the richness of creative patterns. Her bright, introspective imaginary, full of suggestions, takes shape on the surfaces, describing a state of being suspended between a present tense and a past always reachable. The landscaping element extends itself to an emotional horizon, gently introduced by the brushstrokes, the subjects, the combination of abstract and figurative.
