Emili Bermúdez

Emili Bermúdez è nata a Santa Cruz de Tenerife nel 1968.

L’espressione e la ricerca artistica coltivate dall’infanzia acquistano forma compiuta in ambito letterario, con la creazione di poemi in prosa accompagnati da immagini, in un processo naturalmente reversibile.

La fotografia diventa il mezzo di comunicazione privilegiato, esplorato attraverso una creatività che aggira la superficie degli oggetti per raggiungerne le profondità e le potenzialità emotive.

Emili Bermúdez was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in 1968.

She has been interested in arts since she was a child and this closeness to creative expression found its way to emerge through the composition of short poems, presented with images collected from different sources.

Photography became the natural company for the literary mean, and she began rapidly to develop a new way of using the medium and approaching the objects, playing with moments caught by the camera, communicating those feelings and emotional depths that evidently come out of her artworks.
