Giuseppe Fontana

Giuseppe Fontana è un artista italiano.
Fin dalla prima infanzia mostra interesse per la comunicazione attraverso il disegno. Frequenta il IV Liceo Artistico A. Caravillani e, successivamente, l'Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, dove è nato nel 1972.
Dopo un lungo periodo di allontanamento dalla pittura dovuto alla scelta di dedicarsi all'attività musicale, il suo fare artistico giunge a completa maturazione in seguito al graduale avvicinamento alla corrente pittorica del Lowbrow / Surrealismo Pop, attraverso la quale riesce ad individuare un percorso perfettamente aderente ai temi maggiormente vicini alla sua sensibilità e ricerca artistica. Da alcuni anni vive ed opera a Manziana.

He has been showing a deep interest in expressing himself through the practice of drawing since he was a child. He attended to the IV Liceo Artistico A. Caravillani and then to the Academy of Fine Arts in Via di Ripetta in Rome, where he was born in 1972.
After a long period of distance from painting, a choice he made for dedicating himself to his musical activity, his creative making became complete and definite with his reinterpretation of the influences of Lowbrow Art, that allows him to follow and explore the recurring, favorite themes typical of his creative path. He currently lives and works in Manziana.
