Roberta Astegiano

Roberta Astegiano è un’artista italiana. La sua formazione spazia dall’oreficeria alle Scienze dei Beni Culturali. Trascorre a Vienna due anni, unendo quest’esperienza agli studi già compiuti e delinea a questo punto il suo personalissimo stile attraverso l’uso dei pantoni. La campitura piatta accentua il carattere bidimensionale di un’immagine che supera il grafismo e approfondisce di significato la componente decorativa, ricordando tuttavia la modernità della Secessione. La forma si anima acquisendo spessore nella ricchezza del tessuto compositivo.

L’artista ha partecipato a numerosi concorsi in ambito internazionale ed stata esposta estensivamente in Italia.

Roberta Astegiano is an Italian artist. Her studies range over the jewelry design and the Sciences of Cultural Heritage. She spent two years in Wien, putting together this experience with her previous university phase and defined at this time her truly personal style through the use of ink markers. The flat color fields underline the 2D’s features of a picture that goes beyond the graphics and deepens the meaning of the decorative component, making us recognize the modernity of the Secession as well the sharpness of the contemporary analysis. The shape comes alive getting highness in the richness of the compositional pattern.

The artist participated to various international prizes and had been extensively exhibited in Italy.
