Mariasole Doria è un’artista italiana.

Gli studi di architettura e l’accostarsi alle tecniche pittoriche e fotografiche caratterizzano una formazione tesa ad una ricerca nella quale il gusto per la descrizione dell’attimo si unisce a un’interessante solidità compositiva e strutturale. La componente emotiva, l’impatto dell’immagine in sé, appaiono orchestrati secondo un ritmo costitutivo morbido e rigoroso a un tempo, che lascia spazio al sogno e all’immaginazione, velandosi dell’atmosfera di un tempo immobile, ancorandosi contemporaneamente a un puntuale alternarsi di sfumature, contrasti, varietà di soggetti e atmosfere. Comune denominatore a questi sguardi che ricalcano quelli dell’osservatore, in un aprirsi di suggestioni definite nella ricchezza del momento, è la sensazione di compiutezza di un divenire che non è narrazione, ma fatto, precisa circostanza, colta dall’obiettivo come da un occhio sensibile e attento. La ricchezza di quanto si offre alla visione viene catturata dal mezzo fotografico come dallo strumento più adatto a raggiungere l’obiettivo: restituire la poetica casualità di istante, il suo potenziale compositivo e immaginativo. Le opere di Mariasole Doria sono state esposte recentemente a Milano, Firenze e Londra. L’artista è apparsa inoltre sulla rivista Artantis.

Mariasole Doria is a young Italian artist. The architectural studies along with the approach to painting and photography techniques characterize a research that shows a precise taste for the description of the moment combined with an interesting compositional and structural solidity. The emotional element, the impact of the image itself, appears orchestrated according to a strict building rhythm, softening itself at the same time, defining a space for imagination and dreams, anchoring the eye, however, to the play of the shades, the contrasts, the variety of subjects and atmospheres. The stylistic matrix in this view that always mirrors the observer’s one, with an open setting of suggestions in the richness of the moment, is the feeling of something that is not a narrative frame, but a fact, a circumstance, captured by the lens used as a sensitive and careful eye. The richness of what is offered to our vision is fixed by the photographic medium as the most suitable mean to reach this goal: restoring the poetic randomness of a perfect moment, its compositional and imaginative potential. The artworks of Mariasole Doria had been recently exhibited in Milan, Florence and London. The artist was also featured in the magazine Artantis.
