Viki Ders (Vittoria De Rosa) è un’artista italiana.

Fotografa professionista, esprime la sua sensibilità pittorica attraverso la fusione delle tecniche diverse proprie del medium scelto, fino a esplorarne le possibilità nella direzione opposta a quella normalmente considerata. Da testimoniale, il mezzo fotografico diventa strumento di espressione di un divenire. Dal presente si arriva al possibile. La luce, già protagonista nella pratica fotografica, si fa materia a tutti gli effetti, attraverso le sfumature, lo spessore, la qualità squisitamente onirica delle superfici che trasforma il reale in fantastico, permettendo di leggere la veduta, il soggetto della fotografia stessa, con altri occhi. Il passaggio tra la dimensione reale e quella immaginata si attua nella modulazione cromatica, nell’ammorbidirsi delle forme che cambiano, colte con naturalezza durante la loro metamorfosi, come all’interno di un processo il cui esito poetico è affidato all’osservatore.

As a professional photographer, she expresses her artistic sensibility melting the different techniques linked to the chosen medium, using them to explore the possibilities in the opposite direction that is normally considered in relation to photography itself. Instead of witnessing something that is already happened, the medium becomes the expression of a becoming. The observer starts to imagine, and the act of looking allows to reach what is only possible, even if it seems unreal. The light, the main feature in the photographic practice, is a material, even beyond the originating purposes. It makes itself alive, through the enrichment of the nuances, the thickness, the exquisitely dreamlike quality of the surfaces that transforms the reality into a fantastic world, allowing people to approaching the object from a completely different point of view. The transition between what is real and waht can be only imagined  takes place in the chromatic modulation, in the softening of the changing forms, captured during their metamorphosis as part of a process whose outcome is poetically entrusted to the observer.
