Ilterzopiano promuove la creatività. Come nasce il progetto? Quali saranno gli sviluppi?
Il progetto nasce da due amiche e dalla voglia di proporre qualcosa di nuovo, che unisse la nostra professionalità alle nostre passioni. Ilterzopiano è un gift shop online per trovare creazioni uniche di artisti, artigiani, designer italiani.
Le potenzialità dell’e-commerce risiedono nella possibilità di avere accesso a prodotti d’élite a condizioni vantaggiose, nella varietà dei cataloghi, nell’opportunità di aprire nuovi canali di comunicazione e contatto fra pubblico e designers, artisti, artigiani, marchi innovativi. In che modo è possibile differenziarsi in un panorama così esteso?
Il nostro obiettivo è duplice: da un lato diventare il riferimento internazionale per un made in Italy originale e unico, a costi accessibili. Dall’altro essere un “luogo” dove i migliori creativi italiani si incontrano e prendono ispirazioni e idee gli uni dagli altri.
Lo stile oggi è dislocato. È ovunque, fino all’istante in cui diventa parte di un vissuto, privato o pubblico. Sul web è possibile trovare spunti e creazioni innovative da ogni parte del mondo. Il Made in Italy rimane ciò nonostante una garanzia, un marchio di fabbrica. Come ne valutate l’evoluzione?
Noi abbiamo deciso di puntare sulla qualità e sulla selezione accurata. Ci sono tanti siti di e-commerce che fanno offerte strepitose, o che lasciano la libertà di inserimento a chiunque, o ancora che propongono di tutto…Noi scegliamo personalmente ogni singolo seller per la nostra piattaforma attraverso ricerche accurate e lunghi dialoghi. Alla fine del percorso di inserimento infatti, ci piace chiamare i nostri creativi inquilini!
Che tipo di feedback avete ricevuto dal pubblico?
Ottimo, il progetto e l’idea piacciono, la grafica piace, la selezione piace…Siamo in una fase sperimentale e i seller saranno incrementati moltissimo nei prossimi mesi. Quello che manca ancora è un po’ la fiducia nel comprare online in siti che non si chiamano Amazon. Ma l’Italia è pronta, le statistiche sono dalla nostra parte e quando l’Italia comprerà online tanto come la Gran Bretagna noi saremo lì!
Arte e design sono sinonimi, in alcuni casi. È possibile valutare - e rivalutare - questo rapporto?
È una domanda che meriterebbe letteratura di riferimento e pagine di critica! L’idea artistica che accomuna artisti “puri” e designer sta alla base di qualcosa che miracolosamente, o meglio grazie al talento, riesce a prendere forma e a diventare reale. In questo non c’è differenza. A noi interessa ogni forma di creatività e abbiamo aggiunto volentieri accanto ad artisti e designer anche chi si dedica al cosiddetto artigianato contemporaneo.
Il Terzo Piano promotes creativity. How did you start the project? What will be the future developments?
The project started with two friends and their desire to offer something new, something that would combine our professionalism to our passions. Ilterzopiano is a web designed gift shop, created for finding unique creations of artists, craftspeople, Italian designers.
E-commerce potential relies on the chance to reach élite products launched on attractive terms, along with the variety of the catalogs e and the opportunity to connect people to designers, artists, manufacturers, innovative brands. How it is possible to make the difference in such a wide horizon?
Our main goals are two: we want to become the international reference for an absolutely original and unique made in Italy, made available at an affordable cost. On the other hand we would like to be a "place" where the best Italian creatives can "meet" and take inspiration from each other.
Style is dislocated nowadays, shifted from a page to another. It is everywhere until it becomes part of the experience, private or public. On the web it is possible to find ideas and innovative creations, and the number of the available marketplaces increases. “Made in Italy” is still a guarantee, a trademark. How do you consider its evolution on such a picture?
We decided to focus on the high quality of the products and a careful selection. There are so many marketplaces that propose amazing sales discount, or allow the inclusion to everyone asks for, or even offer everything ... We choose personally each single seller for our platform, through careful research and personal confrontation. At the end of the path of inclusion in our project we like to call them our creative tenants!
What feedback did you receive from your users?
We received a nice and strong feedback by our users, they like the project and the idea, the graphics, the selection we made ... We are in an experimental phase now and the sellers list will be increased more and more by the next months. To us what can we still considered missing among the public is a bit of confidence in buying online on websites that are not called Amazon. But Italy is ready, the statistics are by our side and when Italy will buy online as the UK does we will surely be there!
Art and design can be synonyms sometimes. How it is possible evaluating - and re considering – this connection?
It's a question that would deserve referenced literature and critics pages! The artistic ideal that 'pure' artists and designers share is the seed of something that miraculously, or rather thanks to the talent, manages to grow and take shape to become real. There is no difference about this aspect. We are interested in all forms of creativity and we already added happily to our artists collection those who practices so-called contemporary crafts, as well as artists and designers.
